HOW TO GET TO FLUP?

BY PLANE

Arriving on the Oporto Airport Francisco Sá Carneiro, you can use a direct connection to the city center with the Metro, as indicated bellow. The Metro journey takes about 23 minutes and has a frequency of departure of 20 or 30 minutes.

BY METRO

FLUP's nearest Metro station is called Casa da Música and is just about 10 minutes away on foot. After exiting the underground station you can get the 204 bus, heading to Foz, and exit at Junta de Massarelos, already in Campo Alegre. The Faculty of Arts is located at the Via Panorâmica, near the junction with the highway.

BY BUS

The Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto is served by the following buses:

                • 200 - From Bolhão | Destination: Castelo do Queijo
                • 204 - From the Hospital de São João | Destination: Foz
                • 207 - From Campanhã | Destination: Mercado da Foz
                • 902 - From Boavista | Destination: Lavadores
                • 903 - From Boavista | Destination: Laborim.

Whatever the origin, the nearest bus stop for FLUP is Junta de Massarelos at Campo Alegre. If you do not have transportation tickets, you can get a ticket valid for the trip on board. It costs €1,45 and it is recommended that you pay with the exact amount or similar.

BY TRAIN

If you want to get to Porto by train, you will arrive at one of two main stations: Campanhã or São Bento

•         From Campanhã station, you have two alternatives of transport:

           By Metro: take any of the lines that pass thorugh this station heading towards the city center since all of them go by Casa da Música, without having to make any transfer. To know how to move from the station's Casa da Música until FLUP please see the link above Metro.

           By Bus: At the station of Campanhã you can get the bus 207 (Destination: Foz). This bus passes in the street of Campo Alegre, where you have to exit on Junta de Massarelos.

•         If you exit at São Bento station also has two alternatives of transport available:

           By Metro: the Metro station São Bento is right outside the train station on the left and it is an underground station. You should take the Metro to Hospital de São João and to make a transfer at Trindade, to catch any other Metro line and get off at the Casa da Música.            By Bus: from the train station you should head to Praça da Cordoaria (at the top of the Rua dos Clérigos) and take the buses 902 or 903 to Praça D. João I, where you can get the buses 200 or 207. You should exit at Junta de Massarelos, already in Campo Alegre.
