Prof. Enzo Pace
Full Professor of Sociology and Sociology of Religion at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Padova and Lecturer on Islam and Human Rights at the European Master on Human Rights and Democratization, Enzo is the Director of the Department of Sociology and Director of the Interdepartmental Centre for the Intercultural Studies.
He is member of the Scientific Board of the Interdepartmental Centre on Human Rights of Padova University; of the Scientific Committee of the Observatoire de Sociologie de la Religion, University of Lausanne and of the Agence National de la Recherche (CNRS-France). Former President of International Society for the Sociology of Religion (ISSR) and Visiting Professor at the Ecole des Hautes Études en Science Sociales (EHESS) in 1996 and 2000, Enzo has been actively involved in several international research projects on religion, some of which were carried out under his coordination. Enzo is a major reference of European research production on religion, having made an outstanding contribution for the production of scientific works on that subject.
Prof. Liliane Voyé
Sociologist and Professor Emeritus at the Catholic University of Louvain-La-Neuve (Belgium), she has been a visiting professor at universities in several countries, including Japan, France, Switzerland, Italy and Denmark. Having built her research career around themes related to urban sociology and sociology of religions, which gave origin to several publications, she has been acclaimed for her scientific achievements worldwide.
Her most important scientific contribution is related however to pedagogical issues. Her expertise in this domain has led her to provide advisory opinions for several States on educational agendas for the science of Sociology.
